This delightfully unique, Shh We Have a Plan board book by Chris Haughton tells a lovely story about 4 friends, 3 large, 1 little but all wanting to catch a beautiful bird. We follow the story as the group try scheme after scheme to catch the bird, but as the bigger three try and fail, it becomes clear that they should listen to their littlest member, who knows that care and compassion are the best ways to get anything done. 

A really lovely story, with a great message, as well as some uniquely cool illustrations. It'll make a fabulous bedtime book and a read along as your child's reading develop!
